Get Empowered and Empoword at Electric Fetus
A few weeks ago, we blogged about this great sign in the window of Empoword Store #33: the Electric Fetus - a Twin Cities music and gift store.
The next day the Electric Fetus called us. Did we know about their MinnEconomy program? Well, not really, we said, but we love the sign in your window!
MinnEconomy is a shop local program that empowers both shoppers and local artists and manufacturers by offering them a forum to sell their crafts and products. Every month the Electric Fetus features local Minnesota musicians, artists, and designers, showcasing the talent in the state of Minnesota.
Every second Thursday of the month is MinnEconomy Day at the Electric Fetus. Minneconomy Day features demonstrations, live music, and free refreshments from local vendors. It is an in-store showcase of the local talent in Minnesota.
Empoword is thrilled and honored to be picked as the MinnEconomy artist of the month. Thursday June 11th, Empoword’s co-founder and CEO, Wendy Lutter will be at the Minneapolis store to talk about Empoword, words you like and how to make use of those words to supplement your spirit and fortify your attitude. Wow, what a great night I had last Thursday when Empoword was the featured MN business of the month at the Electric Fetus. I had the chance to talk with so many wonderful people about the meaning of words, what words mattered to them and how to use the Empoword “see it, think it, be it” philosophy.
And the best part was rediscovering the wonderful treasures at the Fetus, including their awesome staff. The Fetus is much more than just music, there are many cool, unique gifts.
